Optionally, you could carry your remote computer to the office, login to your network, and then open Civil 3D to obtain a license. Had to use task manager to kill the application. If you have a multi-user/network license, do as was suggested by, install the software on your remote computer and use a VPN to access a network license. Double check your Autodesk License Agreement, as I think remote desktop access is prohibited.
